Come on guys I just need a ballpark figure on the price of repairing about eight or so inches of chassis under each floorpan of a 2002 and the floor itself. I'm trying to decide if it is worth buying or not. Would appreciate a reply thanks,
Martin

IMO, if you need to repair the chassis on a 2002 vehicle, chances are you should be looking at another vehicle. Thats just my take on it. If your really serious about the car, call around some shops to see what kinda prices to be looking at. Im sure with a more descriptive detail of damage, they can give you a more acurate number.

something like that can be very expensive, friend of mine just tore up the bottom of her E46 convertible and the insurance company wrote it off as the repairs for the bottom of the chassis would have been around 30K be very carefull this may not be the bargin you think it is.

I could probably get it for around $2000cdn. Looks like maybe the windshield was leaking and rotted thru the floors and then the rails. The clearcoat is also peeling off and it needs doorlocks.

DUBL02 - depends on if you plan on doing some prep work yourself or not. The 2002's are very simple cars to work on, repairing the floors will run you a grand at most if done by a quality welder. All depends on how much work needs to be done on the floor.
