Hi guys, I have seen a 2002 for sale not far from where I live in Hamilton that doesn't look too bad. The main concern is the rot in the footwells and the chassis rails directly under them and a section by the rear drivers side jacking point in front of the wheel. I am considering buying the car but I was wondering if anyone could shed any light on the repair costs that would be involved, where to go for parts etc. It's a round rear light model and the guy wants around $2000. Your advice would be appreciated thanks,

If you pick it up, you might also want to grab this 2002tii in Peterborough for $400. http://toronto.craigslist.org/car/162832260.html
The jacking points is an easy repair. The rot in the footwells will require quite a bit more work. Are the chassis rails themselves rotted? Or just the floor above them?

Yea the rails are rotten too (about eight inches in length). I just wondered what the damage would be cost wise.
