someone on this board has already had their motor blown from a clown on a DYNO RUN!

what did the guy do on the dyno to cause the engine to pop??? Maybe the engine was already on its way out and by pushing the car to redline in 4th(which is what you have to do) caused the engine to let go.

i really don't see what "the clown" could have done to cause the engine to pop. Cars have rev limiter last time i checked, it's not like he misshifted on the dyno, or kept car at redline for like 10min or so. I say engine was on the way out

I will be doing some dyno runs before and after the cam/carbon airbox install sometime in June. Not sure if you want to wait that long.

No, I can't really discuss it as it's not my car or for anyone to really know... but if the member wants to chime in on this thread, then he will...

yea Tom, i was also wondering how many hps is your HAI robbing you.
I have HAI on mine too and can very much tell the difference in power between when the car is cold and when it gets hot under the hood

I need to do some dyno runs too, but have yet to find a good dyno shop that can do AFR too.

Hey STALKER, who made those rims on your car?

The rims are RACmonolite. They are super light, 18lbs. They are bascially made by Champion Motorsports.

Yes. Now I remember. I saw those rims at Watkins Glen a few 2 weeks ago are I forgot what the guy told. Thanks.

to be honest its best to do dyno runs individually, spend the time to talk with the tunner and get the information you require to make the car run/perform better. its better than rushing to get to the next car.
