Admin's move this if it is not in the right section...

I have some what of a dilemma... My current car came with aftermarket 17's of which brand I am unsure ( nothing special thats for sure).. Anyways they came bent and I rode through it for the remainder of last season ( picked the car up in October)...Anyways I need new rubber this season and I have to either 1.Fix the current rims 2. Get New ones.....But I am on a very tight budget so I cant really dish off a load of cash...I Have other things that are getting done aswell ( rotors, pads ,lines fluid...just got diff done..and it goes on)

So I know which tires im goin with...the Eagle F1 Gs D3's But I am still looking for rims....In my search I came across the Beyern Mesh's...

I guess what all this is about is, are these wheels a good buy...I will hopefully take the car out on the track a couple of times if all goes well and do a few autocrosses. Are these rims suitible for the mild abuse they will be given? Are they a well known company?

I tried to reasearch a bit through bimmerforums etc.. Some said they are somewhat soft while others said they are fine for mild track use.

So what is your take on the Beyern Mesh wheels and do you think I should be safe using them?

Also how much to fix bent rims and where in the GTA (west side Mississauga)?

I have also considered the ASA AR1's but they are a little more pricey not much(70$ a rim) but I am on a SERIOUSLY tight budget.

Thanks alot...

AR1 are slightly lighter, than Bayern Mesh. I dont know which one is softer, but I like Beyern Mesh more.

They are made by TSW (used to have a set) and it is normal cast wheels. So they will not be too strong and I am sure they will be heavy. If you only do 2 or 3 track days a year, any wheels should be fine. Is those pot holes in the city that you have to worry about.
