I am looking to roll the rear fenders on my 2000 323i .I just bought a set of 4 m3 wheels/tires and the rear ones are 255/40/18 but they rub if somebody sits on the back seat. It seems like the only options are to roll the fenders or buy new tires(255/35/18). I would like to go for rolling the fenders. Please let me know if you know somebody in Toronto who can do it . Thank you

Hey Fiercity, are those oem m3 wheels or are they replicas? Reason why I'm asking is because I though you couldn't fit those wheels on a non-m because of the offset in the rears. Let me know how the fender rolling goes I too just bought new rims and may need to roll my fenders.

Hi bmw-330-ci , they are oem wheels and tires are Continental ContiSport Contact , the front ones 225/45ZR18 and 255/40ZR18 on the rear . I installed the wheels on the car a week ago and did not seem to have a problem with the offset but they rub a bit if somebody sits on the back or on bumpy road . The real problem is that in any non-M the maximum you can fit on the back is 255/35/18 (without rolling the fenders ) ,but then again it'll be very close . I wanted to go for lower profile tires first ( 35> ) ,but I decided to go for the rolling for 2 reasons : First is cheaper and second it fixes the problem once and for good. I'll let you know how the rolling goes .

You got 2 options
1. Sell the wheels and buy proper wheels for your car.
2. Get widebody.

I got a tire rolling tool, I work over at Mississauga Auto Centre, it's normally $50 a corner, but I'll do it for the maxbimmer guys for $40. I got experience with it, I've done alot of different high end cars, especially bimmers. I've done a few that we service and I do all the fender rolling for my cousin who is a Dinan dealer in oakville.

Believe I tried everything, By the time you stop the rubbing, its gonna compromise you handling so much you just gonna hate them.

Well guys , I went back to the shop yesterday and they checked the car again . There is nothing more they could do to the fenders . The only option they gave me was widebody , but I love these wheels too much to give up. I did some research and apparently there are some ppl that fit these rims in a E46 without widebody , just rolling the fenders, sport suspension and lower profile tires 35> . I'm still working on it , and not planing on giving up just yet. I'll keep you guys posted . If somebody with more experience knows something more ,please let me know .

Sorry to hear it didn't work for you! How much did each corner end up costing you?

First I was told 75 to 150 for both depending on how much they will roll the fenders , but once the job done they asked for 80$/fender plus 40$ for installing the weels on the car plus 70$ alignment ( wich did'nt really helped me) . By the way what kind of wheels are you trying to put on your car ?

19x8.5 in the front and 19x9.5 rear all with an offset of 38mm. Whow much would they charge for the balance and install of the wheels?

Just got my wheels installed yesterday. They look amazing and the best part is the fenders don't need to be rolled! So I confirm, 19x9.5 38offset CAN fit perfectly with 265/30zr/19 tires...no modifications!

Will post pics soon!

Yes, for e46's the coupes have a few more inches of space in the fenders. I'm using Toyo Proxes T1R's.

I think it's stupid to go widebody because of the OEM M3 wheels.. get some new wheels man..
