1.5" and 1", I think...the back wheels are almost tucking and the fronts clear the fender by about 2cm...If I remember correctlly...

What kind of lowering springs are you riding on? And does it ever rub at all if you have people sitting in the back?

My lowering springs are Spax, basically a cheap way of lowering it, my buddy bought them for his E36 and he never put them on. So I got them for $100 brand new. http://www.spax.co.uk/SPAX_SSX_page.html
As for rubbing, my Right Rear Rubs a bit when I turn a corner cause she's tucked a bit, you can see where it rubs on the tire, just under tread, I have to roll the fenders just a touch....My tires aren't on right now, but when they do go on I'll try and get you some pics of the tires in the wheel well.

mine in the rear are 245/40r17

And I will have a similar drop to you. Guess I may need to roll the fenders a bit

That depends on the offset. If I put 245's on mine, I'd be rubbing all the way to a flat tire*shiner* also my tires are like this in the rear / \ (So if they were straight I would have to get the fenders rolled) But mind you, what about your shock? Cause with mine I come pretty close to the shock....I'm not saying it can't be done, cause I've seen a 318I with 245's on the rear without rubbing...

mine is a 318is. Car is totally stock right now. I was told 245 fit fine on e36?

So at stock height it shouldnt be an issue I hope?

hmm I think that size I have is stock size for e36 m3, so should be no issues unless I lower, then I think I may need to roll the fenders

Best person to talk to about all that is Jay(Mystikal). Like I said, on mine I wouldn't want 245....

Here's some pics before I dropped it,,, the side shot has the rear lower, note the gap in the front*shiner*
