Yep, they fit fine. Careful though, a lot of the optional rims are pretty wide, so you may have some trouble getting the rears under your arches.

wow... so the X3 rims are also on a 5x120 bolt pattern?

amazing!

so what do i need to know... hight fitment of the tire, and then the width?

what about offset?

there's no way you're gonna fit those on an E36

I've already told you before, all 5-bolt BMWs are 5x120.

The offset is fine, you'd just need new tires.

are you sure? because they come with 55's on them... and my car has 60's...

although, my rims are also 2 inches smaller...

don't question mystikal, he's the resident tire guru.. if he said it'll fit, it'll fit. :)

as he said though, the profile on the tires will have to change.

55 is the ratio of the width of the tire.

For instance, if you have a 265 wide tire with a 55 wall, this tire will be bigger in diameter than a 225 with a 60 wall.

X3's rim fits E36? i thought E36 3 series use a 72.55mm center bore which is differ than X3's?

If anything, the X3's is bigger. And there are centering rings for that, tire shops would put them on.
