I want to get my rims re-finished. Just the lip. I want them to shine as if they just came out of the box. I also have a friend who has one of his rims with a minor bend in it. So i am looking for a place with resonable priceing. Quick work and that can do the above for me. Hopefully somewhere locally too.

Thanks guys

Alan

Are there any local places. All i could find in my search that i did BEFORE making this thread, was a place called wheel fix. Only problem was it's in uxbrigde.

Anything else? Maybe you found somethng different in your search sickfinga?

I know which one you are talking about, I worked at that MB dealer, you don't want to go to that butcher, shitty job, not only does he not do what you tell him to but he also can't match colours right

go to Carcone or Collision Network

Woofer: did you get it done yet? If so, how did it go and how do the wheels look? I need mine done soon and I'm looking for shops.

I was in a wheel and tire shop last week and happened to notice that they had a guy's business card

Rapid Wheel Refinishing

Anyways, it's in Oshawa, maybe find the phone number from canada411.com and give them a call, see if they can help you out. I've never been there, just trying to help out a fellow gearhead.

Dropped my Alpina rims to RWR (www.rapidwheel.com) this week... one wheel is slightly bent and all needs refinishing. I'll let you quys know how they turn out.

Precision Rim Repair (Old Weston Rd) - owned and run by a good friend of mine.

He does work for Maranello (BMW and Ferrari)

Sorry about that... forgot I posted a note on this...

The rims came out nice. Most of their business come from dealers. Good guys, the shop is not hi-tech like Carcones but they get the job done...

Thanks mang... more Alpina goodies to come. $500 for the rims plus $100 for the centre caps... on par with Carcone's I think.
