I doubt you need to replace shocks practly every 2 years. I bought these in case I sold the coilovers I had on my car, but sold the car with the coilovers.

actually, under normal (even hard) driving conditions, shocks/struts should last at least 80k, and i say at least because i've seen quite a bit of cars that still ride great and have over 150k on them with the original struts, it is recommended to have them changed at about 80k though...
