Anyone looking to put Style 68 OEM rims on their car, you can put the 8.5" on the front as well but you have to put a 1mm dent in your strut. You will also have to make sure your tires don't overhang the rims.

With no tire on the rim, bolt the rim to the hub (It will rub), spin the rim so it marks your strut. Remove the rim. Using a blunt cold chisel, dent the strut 1mm where the scrape mark is as well as 1/8" above and below the scrape. Mount tires and install rims.

If you don't feel comfortable putting a dent in your strut, stick with the 7.5" rims.

WTF? Denting strut? That's sketchy as shit, it'd be easier and safer to run a small 3 mm spacer.
