Hey Bud,

You have to specify which m30 flywheel you are looking for, e28 single mass or e34 dual mass.

I would buy a new rad if I were you.

the flywheel I have to double check which tranny I'm going to use. Right now I don't have any.

Where's the best place to get a rad.... ebay?

BTW I made my mind up on what route I'm going..I going with a higher compression (maybe 10.25:1) n/a motor.

Right now I'm looking for a performane cam and a set of hedders.

Either flywheel will work with either tranny.

Nope, would not get it from ebay, I will check sources and get back to you.

Which m30 are you using?

I have a 91/92. I was froma 7 series and it had an auto tranny. what's the difference with the flywheels

Autos have no fly wheels just a ring gear. If the car was manual it would have had a dual mass flywheel.

I just ordered and recieved my motor mount brackets, too bad, I could have ordered two sets.

what's the difference with the flywheels

Single mass is lighter and dual mass was produced for the third generation m30 engines mainly for vibration dampening and for smoother clutch engagement. It has springs between almost the same layout like that of the clutch plate.

It comes with a price being heavier.

where did you order the mounts from

From Germany. I was going to build them but I am out of time so I ordered them. I sandblasted them, primed and spray painted them with a high temperature Utherane paint.

Here are the mounts finished.

Yes, but worth it. They have the correct offset and alignment for straight trouble free installation. I will be bringing in some more for two more interested parties.

I was going to make my own, but out of time. I also think this is very well worth it.
