any ideas or tips
Iv got stock E46 rims 18" and back are 18.5" i believe
in dealership they said to me to buy different routors

which 5 series? If E39 then you need to buy spacers that change your centrebore to 74.1 from the stock 72.5. In addition to that the spacers will need to be approx 20mm to compensate for the offset differences of the 2 cars. ( depends on the offsets of the wheels etc.).
If it is any other 5 series then you will just need the 20mm spacer as the centrebores are the same as 3series.
It is really much easier just to sell the rims you have and purchase new ones that are made for a 5 series.
That being said I have a few sets of rims if you are in the market.
