Try calling Carcones (sp) or www.wheelfix.com. Both are located around Toronto. Sodering will do nothing to the wheel you need to have it properly repaired.

WheelFix is really good quality. They did 4 F355 wheels for my dad's shop a while ago. Really good work.*th-up*

How long ago? They worked on an M-parallel of mine 4 times, each time it lasted less than 3 days. I had to scrap the wheel and an SO3 because of the incompetence of the person working on it. (this was from Feb to April, 2004. I don't recommend them.

(but others here love them). *love*

It was like 2 or 3 years ago. It wasn't cheap, but they did a really good job. Depends on what you did there too. We only sent the wheels in because 2 were bent and the owner decided to refinish all 4. Never sent in a rim because it was cracked.

Think about what you are saying your rim is cracked and you just want the easy way out. Do you know the stress your wheels go through at 120km/h when you hit a bump. Get it fixed correctly or buy a new rim. Don't cheap out and risk your life or some other drivers on the road please.

Why do you think I dont have them on the car right now? Why did I posted this thread? The easy way out is to say **** it and drive with it on..

I have had 6 rims refinished at Rim Techniques located at Weston Rd and Finch.
I see car dealers and tire shops taking their client's rims there.

Did my rims very nicely and reasonably priced without the dealer markups.
Speak to Nigel 416-470-3773.
Mention that you were referred by David with the silver M5 and Racing Dynamic rims and SSRGT3 rims.

Hope this helps.

dude buy a new rim, id never trust a rim if it cracked and was repaired. It will never be as good as an un-damaged one.

Chances are they'd do the repair if they thought it was safe. They're not turning you down for no specific reason, they wouldn't make much money if they turned people away they didn't like. Take it in and have it inspected by them, if they still say no it's because they don't want to be responsible for it breaking again and someone getting injured/killed and having their name on it. In that case, buy a new one.

Do you know if they also straighten rims? I've got one slightly bent ACS Type III and I'm nervous about bringing it to just any old rim shop.

Yes they can do it.
They fixed my 3 piece SSR GT3 rims very well.
NBTW, I posted the wrong number.
It should be 416-740-3773
