whats the differences between the 87 and 88 3series coupes? just the lights and bumpers? does anyone have pics of done up 87 bimmers with original rear lights? bimmersport is gonna see if he can hook my bro up with 87 325is! cant wait to go see it....the price is great, now all we gotta see is if his car sells....

89 are new bumpers and new lights
few 88's have the new bumpers but have the new lights as far as i know

e46_lover. I have an '88 with the old bumpers but the eliptical lights. From what I understand, the late '88 built cars have the new bumpers. But I think the '87 cars still have the sealed beam lights and the chrome bumpers

I got an .87 325is....big chrome bumpers and bigger foglights...also have the silver lining around the windows. I think mine looks more sportier than the 88-90's....just my opinion..

the chroe aorund thw windows are definitly going out....my bro told me he wants to go with 1 of eurostyle's body kits...thanks for the replies!
is the taillights a different size or something the rest just seems easy to replace

You have seen mine in person, E46 Lover.
It is an '88 325is...under that kit but it had no-chromed bumpers
and had epilsode lights when I bought..I believe it's a later model in 88?
