Mint condition with box and manual. A superb example of this classic and revered preamplifier. Uses 4 6922s. Martin Colloms in HFNRR called it quite possibly the last preamp you'll ever need. Reason for sale is going another direction in my system. Will not disappoint in any way. One of the final run made that has the removeable power cord.

Yes an addicted one. I usually upgrade, try a new piece or two every week and then move off ones I'm tired of or that don't fit into the direction I'm heading to.

Now really do you think $500 is fair? It's not even close to the true value.

- its tube so I know its good
- its been used and looked around .. hes selling it for $725 on another board (*thmbsdwn* no bmw brotha respect)
- found other prices to be close to $700-800 range ..so its not like its a great deal
- your target market is small .. not everyone will go and buy one of these

As it sells for $700 to $800US in less good shape than this is, is justification, in your mind, to make a silly offer? Come on dude!
I do not have it listed anywhere for $725 CAD.

Being a US site that price is in US dollars so yes I'm passing a cheaper price on to members.

The main thing if its been pampered...you cannot say I seen one on another site for this much,or that much..it all depends on the condition and the amount of hours on the tubes itself..I seen some of these pre amps sell for $495 cdn BUT the tubes had to be replaced and more than likely all must be re matched...if Hibbing can prove the hours are light on the tubes and if they are matched then his asking price is about the norm....
