745 Suggestions??????

New to site and hoping to get some answers.....

Looking to buy 2002 745i and since this was first year of this body style, lookig for any advise/feedback. Good buy or money pit?? Any suggestions? Thanks!

I would say don't buy a first year model, unless you are getting KILLER deal. THey always have bugs.

That would be me, it was a nightmare, dont do it... Go buy M3 and you will be much more happier.

dont listen to them, buy it! 7 series is pimp...get the Li though, looks weird in regular wheel base.

Yeha buy but not 2002 models, I had lots of problems. Missfires,Idrive frroze on me at least 5-7 times, They changed the tranny, dunno search for bimmer745i posts.

My personal experience talking to a few 745i owners. Dont buy the 2002 - 745 lots and lots of problems computer issues. If you have a big bank balance and willing to go through lots of aggrevation then ok. Lots of recalls first year.

Go for the 2003 they had cleaned out most of the bugs. :)
