View Full Version : my 97 328i

Hey guys,

As most of you know I sold my 318i and bought a 328. Talk about a difference! What the **** what I was thinking driving an auto 318? Why i didn't sell it long time ago is beyond me.

Anyhow, here are some crappy pics I just took at the shop. Mind you, its still not complete. I still have to remove the fan, get fogs, etc.

I threw a Reiger replica rear bumper on. But I actually urethaned it on to an original e36 bumper (thanks t-spec) so I can use the stock sliders. I feel more comfortable this way as it doesn't seem to be as flimsy or anything. It gave it a really solid fit.

The front has a Reiger lip on it. I only put it on for the pics, that's why it looks really off. I'll be putting it on properly in the summer.

Here are some other pics.

I'll post better pics when I get the chance. I can't wait to get clears, orange does not go with the silver at all!

Well let me know what you guys think thus far.

Thanks for all the compliment guys!

I will definitely be dropping it and putting rims on.. but that's obviously going to be for the summer time. I'm really considering reiger sides though.

Filip, I'll come by next week some time. I have a few shops I have to drop by there anyhow. Thanks for the stuff though, and an extra thanks for the inner door panels.

BTW I just got an m3 spoiler. Do you guys think I should throw it on or just put on a lip spoiler?

I'm just waiting for you to destroy this one like your last one.. (in terms of looks) it's almost over-done already.

ahhh the infamous flamer. There's always one in every thread.

Here's how the car would look with the spoiler on.

I like it, looks nice.

Although, I think the back end is too thick and agressive for the rather stock-ish front end. If it was me, I would put a Rieger Infinity front bumper/skirt... I dont think the lip is enough. The sideskirts are nice, I've always liked the look of the 328 skirts.

But hey, what do I know...

^yah, your not the first one to make the observation. I am going to change the front bumper.. dont know exactly to what but anything apart from this stock one.. looks like shit.

I'm just going to wait until a used one comes up for sale.

first car was nice (everything but rims), this one looks sick already

congrats bro swing by one day!

congrats bro....i absolutely love the roof spoiler.. *th-up*

i wouldn't throw the m3 spoiler on...i think the m3 LIP spoiler (i think m5 lip spoiler actually fits better or something--might be other way around..might wanna search it) would look way better!

Congrats on the new car! Nice to see another 328i. Yeah, I think the lip spoiler would look better too.

Car looks nice kal! I think the front end is fine. You just need to put all that missing stuff back in lol. I vote for 19's with this setup.

Are you still spinning the tires everytime you launch?:D Must be a huge difference over the 318.

looks promising,

gotta be a bitch to wait so long for summer to come around and put on the things u want on it

good luck

Dude I think I saw your old car. Did you sell it to some young brown dude in East-End?

11-22-2005, 12:35 AM
Nice new car. If you're gonna paint all the moldings, at least paint the door pulls too!

11-22-2005, 08:30 PM
Thanks Guys.

Harps, I tried to call you the other day but I dont have your new cell number. Your pops picked up on the number I have.

ivan, actually I did sell it to some young west indian. How did the car look? Did he fix the door and the bumper? Just curious.

Yah **** I should've painted the door handles. i dont know why I thought it would look fine without it done.

Its been a big (but a really pleasant) adjustment to the 328. I still can't believe I drove a 318 for as long as I did. I mean really, the difference is way too much.

So I guess I shouldn't put the spoiler on. But damn, I really really want to lol. I think I may just do it **** it ...
