After the problems I had getting the car to paint it was really nice to start on the motor tonight. Here's the starting point.

Is of the valve train under the cover.

Water pump removed

Upper timing chain cover.

Head on.

Only the oil pump, rods, pistons and crank left. I have a set of 1800ti pistons arriving from Germany in the next two weeks then everything goes to the machine shop. Then the reassembly begins.

My 2002 had been in storage for 15 years before I picked it up so it probably needs some adjusting badly.. The car is stripped right now for bodywork but it would be a bonus if I found someone that knew what hes doing.

The head is almost done, I got 1800ti pistons from Germany but I need a 2002 crankshaft to make 'em work. Looks like Marcus will be doing the motor as well.
