Washed the car by hand for probably the last time this year, and took a few pics. Nothing too special, but I like 'em.

Looking gorgeous. Absolutely perfect, but you need shadowline trim with the black wheels.

My foglights were purchased brand new last summer, and have 3M protection on them. No cracks.

The '95 M3 bushing is the same as E30 M3. The '96+ M3 bushing is NOT eccentric.

it looks the same but its lke a 45% price Difference between the e30 m3 and the e36 m3. E30 m3 parts prices are way overpriced.

I just got the E30 M3 bushings, Patrick said that the E36 units don't work.

sorry to ruin ur thrend but look @ this picture. e30 m3 bushin on the left e36 on the right do u see any difference? u know wat will be funny if he billed u for an e30 bushings and sent u e36 bushings. :D. But Patrick its a good guy but u never know a company will do anythin to save cost.

If you look closely you will see the difference. The ecentricity on the e30 ones points to the left... where the e36 ones points somewhat down and to the right.

That still doesn't change the fact that you don't track your car, even though it is set up for it. Poser :P

Mystikal
11-14-2005, 05:59 PM
It's hardly set up for the track, if it was I'd have 550/750 springs, THR lollipops, HP+ pads, Hankook R-S2s, and no stereo. And that's just the mods that I could have chosen to go another direction with (as in I intentionally chose them to be more streetable).

You can still track your car, but you don't. You just drive fast on the street. If you went for a track day you would realise how stupid racing on the highway and driving fast on public roads is. Best mod I have done is a track day, and that's a driver mod. But you do have the "blinging out of control" thing going :D:D:D

Figured out the problem, my air filter was BLACK. I just changed it too, but driving on constrution sites with lots of dust isn't good for filters.

Well, since I'm out of the mod game I've been thinking about that every single day.

Pending test drives and insurance quotes, I'm attracted to:
'00-03 S2000
'95-99 M3 2-door
'97-98 540i/6

You can see how wildly varied those cars are. I'm really tempted to do the 2-seat roadster thing before it's too late (read: stupid kids ruining my life), but the crushing power of an M62 is very tempting, especially at the prices they're selling at. 3750lbs is a little scary though, I'm thinking that's the kind of car I should buy when I need a family sedan. Although...a slammed E39 on deep dish wheels with over 300ft-lb of torque just sounds sick.

The M3 is just the happy medium, but I'm thinking it may be a bit too boring for me. I've never liked the E36 bodystyle, and the fact that it's not a real M motor (but with real M motor insurance rates) pisses me off, too. E46 M3s are out of the price range, but fit the bill better.

Meh, I've still got time to plan this out. Still pretty funny that my two most likely options are a 9000rpm 2-seater and a huge luxury sedan.

Nice dude! I think 6 speed 540 is just awwwwww. Now I am looking to get 540 but E34 body style with 6 speed ,most of E34s 540 are automatic. Still I think E34 should be fast as E39.

Wow with those cars, its a huge jump from what you got now...Any of these choices are really cool, I'd be hard pressed to choose.

Why not get a E36 M3 and FI it... That's what I would do. More specifically, I would import a E36 Touring from Europe and do a M engine swap and FI....

But wheres the crown air filter?

Oh and I feel you on doing stuff before kids ruin your life. Hence why I want a damn truck now, damnit.

I'm not like heeter, fool.

haha, I'm just trying to bug Jay. It's not working since he is pretty much ignoring me, but whatever.

Get the Honda while you still can, there will be plenty of time for luxury sedans after mini-Jay's are prancing around.

LOL, yeah Paul, I remember. And I started it up again, shit I already memorized the differences between the model years.

I casually mentioned my dilemma to my mother, and it looks like she wants the damn 540/6. Makes sense, I always thought of the E46 as a bit small for her tastes (she came from a 5-speed Maxima SE, now in a 5-speed 323i). She said I can just take it when I feel like acting all ganggg-stuhhh.

Vitaliy, I'm not FI'ing anything. Putting that much money into a car doesn't make any sense to me, I'd rather buy another car that's already that fast, and drive past people with broken motors like Vlad. :D
