Heres a small tutorial i found on how to make your own (ghetto) heatshield.
You can either do like he did and use foam and aluminum foil :confused: or use his dimensions and get an aluminum sheet cut it and bend it to make your own instead of spending a fortune to buy one...

thats soo ghetto... or get abs plastic sheets and cut out the dimensions on it.

ack, he put that on a bimmer.

I mean c'mon.. you want to make it out of flammable cardboard, okay, fine... but at least drop $15 at Home Depot and pick up some heat reflective ceramic paint and use that. It'll do a similar job, and look a hell of a lot better.
