i was watching a tlc show not too long ago that explained it something like there going so fast that if they blink they miss almost 60meters or something around there, so a crash 250meteres ahead you would see it then be there in about 1.2 seconds, dont quote me on the #'s but it was crazy

i thought there was going to be an explosion like that one porsche crash, the one where there were all those car on the rainy day, then, light 'em up! but still that would have hurt the next day.

in instances like that you really see the need for crumple zones, but weight matters so you get just cage.

Those cars are build to save lives, it's not suprizing to me at all that he walked away without being hurt. It's not like he hit a brick wall.

How good are you at physics?

I'd be very suprised if he walked away. Imagine you're in a 2500lbs block of metal going 200km/h and you smash into a motionless 2500lbs block of metal, a lot of energy is going to be transfered around, hell, even if you took your 2500lbs block of metal at 200km/h into a 2500lbs sponge it'd hurt, it'd just absorb a lot more energy then that car.
