Jim E - From scraping now and then the clips come a little loose. I have the same velocity splitters on my car as well. Unless you're laying on the ground looking at the car, you won't notice the little gap between the splitters and the lip. If he took the pictures from another foot off the ground it would look flush.
slovania - car is looking good. there is a bit of a gap between the bumper and your nose panel though. I had the same prob with my car before, and it wasn't in an accident. I added a few washers to the bumper shocks to raise the angle a bit... problem solved.
11-02-2005, 09:04 AM
I'm not a fan of red bimmers but this deffinetly has to be one of my fav E36's.
11-02-2005, 11:21 AM
best e36 on this board imo *th-up*
11-02-2005, 11:24 AM
Very Clean ride!! what do you think about the fuzions?
I like those rims in concept, but other rims would make it look so much more modern
11-02-2005, 11:29 AM
I would eat off that car :D
11-02-2005, 01:05 PM
Nice, Clean e36!
11-02-2005, 02:06 PM
quack: lol, thanks
woofer: thanks man *th-up*
bmw_7: lol, you and those clears!!!! You know wut, I'm just not gunna change em to bother the hell outta you :D
king luis: what camera? I used my Olympus c8080 for these shots
soldo: refer back to the reply I have for bmw_7, lol
mark: thanks man
JimE: yea, that shot was taken from the ground, so any tiny little gap seems huge, you don't ever see that unless you crawl on your belly and stare at the corner of the splitter, lol....
justin E36: wow man, you have a sharp eye, great idea though! I'm gunna do that for next summer, thanks!
E30girl: thanks *th-up*
2slow2race: Thanks man
325is red: never had a problem with em, they're amazing tires for the price....they look nice(nice sidewall and tread pattern) and handle pretty damn good....they have a harder compound than most performance tires so you can get an extra season or two but they don't grip as much
DAM: I personally have always wanted a set of ACS Type 3's
Msanity: don't get it dirty!!! lol
E46er: thanks *th-up* , I was going for a clean look, I might be grabbing a spoiler soon, but I'm still unsure about it...
11-02-2005, 06:06 PM
Easy there Mr. Celebrity Face.
The spacers look sick, but next year I wanna see 1.5" lips with no spacers. :P
11-02-2005, 06:56 PM
Fawkin Hot bro! *th-up*
11-02-2005, 08:48 PM
wow! Absolutely stunning! Best e36 imo.
Dont change those wheels, they look soo good!
11-03-2005, 12:23 AM
i have a gap like that between my mugen lip and my car also, but i was moreso confused as to what you mounted under the lip. At first it didnt look like a splitter, looked like another lip jus cut into portions and screwed on...but yea so anyways lol car looks good none the less
11-03-2005, 11:20 AM
wow, its always soo vibrant, i ****en love it man... also what kinda camera set up did you use, pics look crystal clear
11-03-2005, 12:24 PM
SLAMMMMM that biatch to the gorund so u can be a playa :D
11-03-2005, 12:53 PM
This car is one of my favorites on MAX!!! Where did you get the paint job done? I have all my M stuff to put on my car now, and I am debating just getting the whole car done properly, instead of just some parts.
11-03-2005, 03:27 PM
mystikal: lol, SHADAP! The whole lip extensions in for the rear rims were planned for this summer, but Kodiak Wheels screwed me hard so I couldn't get it done....personally I think they only hire assholes to work there but watever.....
kashmir: thanks man *th-up*
rampage: I don't know, I like em too but those acs wheels are my fav
Jim E: they're called Velocity Splitters, just some company that made a replica look of the M3 LTW splitters....they're are some other members on here who have em.....
///mac: i forgot what the exact numbers were for these shots ill check my camera out later, but basically.....use a tripod, low iso, slow shutter
andreNY:thanks! in these shots I guess because they were taken from the ground, the car looks higher then it really is......I'm running H&R sports with Bilstein sports right now....I would go H&R race, but right now I scrape with my splitters on, if I had H&R race, the splitters would be destroyed the first day
A.K.A: thanks man *th-up* .....car was painted at Concepts On Wheels....I would suggest you get the entire car painted instead of just the parts you're adding, but that all depends on how much you are willing to spend
11-03-2005, 05:03 PM
wow your E36 is breath taking very clean nice work man *love*

best e36 on this board imo *th-up*
I second that.
A true classic, don't change a thing.
11-10-2005, 11:32 PM
whats the story with Kodiak wheels?
11-12-2005, 10:41 AM
kerisabe & mclarenbenz: thanks allot guys, appreciate it *th-up*
miguel: plan was to remove all the lips on the bbs wheels and replace with 1" deep polished lip in front and 2" polished lip in back.....so I went and ordered four wheels shells (lips) from Kodiak and had all new bolts for re-assembly.....this was this past summer.....they basically treated me like I was a fukin child and nothing went smoothly, from giving them the exact measurements to processing the order...so I said **** it...if anybody know any other company to get wheel shells made, let me know....as of right now, I only know of Kodiak

Looking good - too bad we never got a shoot together this summer... next year!
I've got some clear sides if you wanna msn me: geoffrey_grace[at]hotmail.com
I'm thinking of getting the velocity splitters and painting them body colour... what you think?
Strange experience with kodiak... i know from my vw days that's the company to deal with.
11-24-2005, 03:37 PM
geoff@bmw: Yea it would've been good to have a shoot this year...next year for sure!! I saw ur car at the midnight cruise but I didn't have my camera on me
