See pic attached.

I currently have an M3 front with no plate.
Is there a full plate mount for an M3 front bumper like on non-M E36's?

I've seen it on Justin's car but Maranello BMW said it doesn't exist?!?

Doesn't it HAVE To exist?
Where else are you supposed to but the damn thing?

Who cares, looks better without a plate anyways, BE GANGSTA MIGUEL!

Miguel, you already have the proper impact strip!

What you need is NOT the centre impact strip. What you need is the metal license plate bracket to hold the license plate.

This is what you have already:

- behind this are two mounting screws
- you need to drill two holes in your impact strip to get to these holes
- the mounting bracket (metal) is mounted to these screws behind the impact strip
- the mounting bracket has 4 more screwholes (2 top, 2 bottom) which the license plate is mounted to.

This is what the metal bracket looks like:

The part number is: 51 18 1 908 062

... here, this is even easier to understand. Where you see the two holes in the bottom impact strip is where you need to cut them in the top strip. (your strip)

Ignore the part about the Mercedes Benz frame.

K, I just placed the order...

1 X Butterfly Bracket/Metal Plate Holder
1 X Non-Lettered Textured Buffer strip (I want to save my lettered one/NOT drill into it lol)
2 X Insert nuts
4 X Body Nuts

Total price after tax was around $60.... the price we pay to obey the law :(

there you go... problem solved. :) I would've just drilled the holes using a hole cutter into the lettered strip. Wait, that is what I did. :P

These things like to rust too, so be careful when putting the screws in that you don't scrape the paint off.

I was shitting bricks when i was driving on Bloor, and a cop was facing the street. He turned right after me for 2 blocks then went away... I was so sure he will put on his cherries....

I think it's worth it for a clean look.

I've had the clean look for a while now... I don't think it's worth it to shit myself everytime a cop is close by.
especially now that winter is coming up.
