Its intresting how M5 and m6 are made for higher speeds, even in the video m5 vs E55, E55 gets a jump and then M5 overtakes it at higher speeds.... But Turbo got murdered... I bet if they would go from a standing start it would be a lil bit different.

turbo didn't really get murdered. He had a good pull on him.

So ask yourself.. what would you spend your money on? M6 or Turbo?

I'm going to get flamed for this one. I'd go for the M5 followed by the new Corvette Z06.

if you are talking about the first e55 vs m5 videos, e55 got a jump first cause he floored it before m5. You can clearly see that.

Considering it's an Audi RS4, it had a good initial start. If you look at the dyno charts on RS4's or Stage III's S4's, you'll notice there is a big spike in torque initially, so they make gobbles of power at the start, but it eventually drops down. I believe the efficiency of the KKK-04 turbo's aren't meant for top end, so they run out of steam eventually. I'm not sure of his setup, but if he ran a pair of Garett GT28's, he probably would have better top end pull.

I would still go for the 911 Turbo. With a few mods, I'm sure it'll eat the M5 :D But stock for stock, I'll take the M5.

This is what you get with a high HP car with torque that is noticeably lower, (500 HP, ~380 trq).
When traction isn't in the equation, a high HP with a noticeably lower torque will (all things being equal) pulls better in the higher gears. Also, with a 7 speed, the M5 will be able to overall stay longer in a shorter gear, than a 5 speed. ie. Say at 150 mph, the Merc will be in its top gear, 5th, and at the same time, the M5 may still be in 6th, which would likely be a shorter gear in comparison.
