Jay, what you got in your couch, your dog smells something in there. Or has just lost it's mind.

most of the time when dogs do things like that, or when they lie on their back and rub around or even just put their face to the ground and walk and rub they are rubbing the scent of them self on their surroundings, in other words marking their territory with out goin to the bathroom, pretty much every dog ive ever had does that. Specialy if you just give them a bath they rub into the carpet or whatever to get their scent back.

For those of you who have cats, when you pet them and they raise their lip and rub it against ur hand or face or any part of you, the same thing, they have scent glands in there and they are marking you as theirs or various objects.

So for your dog, hes just playing around and marking his scent at the same time, all in good fun.

damn that looks like our dog (american eskimo)..he probably smells some crumbs inside the cushion...american eskimos are pretty hyper for a "husky breed"..
