Alright i figured out that the cloth covered "liner" got jammed in the back (the position where it is when the sunroof is fully opened. Any idea's guys? i tried just yanking it out but no dice.

to yank it back you will need to put the sunroof in tilt first. you'll need to tug it on both sides evenly. if it's jammed off the track you'll have to remove the headliner, take out the sunroof cartridge, dissect and reassemble it all. not a fun job.

How much would the dealer rip me off for having this fixed?

not sure.. they might say you need a new sunroof cartridge which is $1200 + installation.

theres a writeup on how to do it yourself without pulling cartridge or headliner off

Yeah but if i can get the accual sunroof off im sure i can pull out the peice. I litterally just want to get the peice out of there, i dont care about the 3' of bare metal on the sunroof

Keep me posted on this I have the same problem, when my lifters let go for some reason my covered liner got jammed in the headliner, I tried the same but nothing, I'll try the tug on both sides evenly method.....It's like I have to get in there with visegrips to grip the liner and yank...real crappy deal...

nascar i looked at it again today, i think ima permenantly remove that headliner once i get it out

^^ Yeah yours did the same as mine...when you tilt up it doesn't slide back....when I first bought it would slide back but if Justin is refering to that at a cost of $1200, I'd rip it out to...
