Hi, does anyone know how to create a custom fiberglass box (with a removable lid). I need to create one for my ECU as the S54 ECU is much bigger than my stock one was and therefore nolonger fits.

Dimensions are about 25cm wide, 5cm deep and 30cm tall (these are approximations, I havn't actually measured it in detail.

Any help in this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

T.

Would it be possible to buy that piece from a wreck or dealer?
Unless the ecu isn't in the same position as a factory s54 mz3...

There isnt a factory s54 Z3.
He has transplanted a s54 engine from an e46 M3 into his Z3 (2.8L was the original engine I believe).

No, to answer your question the ECU is not in stock position and the factory enclosure will not fit in that location.

Gotcha - that makes sense then. I guess the harness length is different (between the e46 and an mz3)?
