My friend just bought a 1997 E36 and is looking to upgrade his factory alarm.

He was thinking about Viper/Clifford. Apparently Viper/Clifford are the same company??? (I was told).

Any ways...any feedback or suggestions would be appreciated!

THANKS!!!

compustar alarm w/ a boomerang tracking module installed.
a separate ignition kill and fuel pump kill switch, with a second battery backup horn.

Viper, Clifford, and Avital are all the same alarm company.
