Hey guys, i have a 03 330i. I am looking to put in a system, but everyone tells me to "beef up" my alternator. Do you guys know where i can get this done, and I really dont want to do it to the one i have already, but with one that is already broken. so if anyone is selling working one, or a broken one. pls let me know thanks.

any rebuilt alternator shop should already have one waiting for you. :)

$140 - $180 depending on how tight you want it wound. Or you can do what I did and get a higher amperage alternator, strip it open and transfer the internals to your existing alternator housing.

Charlie (bimmersport) usually goes to the place across from Chuck's. I go there sometimes, or down to Rexdale Alternator in North York. (yeah I know, the name doesn't make sense.
