Well, the roadster is gone and I just picked up my replacement on Friday.
It's a 2006 Saphire Black 325i, Sport Package, Sunroof, Aluminum Trim, Black Leatherette. I had the windows tinted to 35% all around. I will post pics as soon as the Zaino is done.

What a difference 10 years of technology makes. My M Roadster was fast but really harsh. The 325 is slower in terms of acceleration but way more refined and without the dreaded snap oversteer. Handling is amazing. I test drove a bunch of E46 330's in various package configurations and there was no contest. I still love the look of the E46 but the overall package on the E90 sold me. Also black on black on black just looks amazing. Plus 4 years of free service doesn't hurt.

Again, pics to come.

awesome.. I know what you mean. I've driven a bunch of e90's and e46's in different configurations. Although I'm not impressed with the e90's exterior... handling and refinement wise.. the e90 can't be beat. Amazing driving experience.

Nice. Thats good to hear too since my 330's lease ends this winter and I can't decide if I want to go with the e90 330 or get something else

i had a 325i as a loaner, and it was so much smoother and refined than my 330, plus its got enough power to get u into trouble. but i hate the interior dash, so ugly

Here are a couple of quick pics. As for the *thmbsdwn* , well no one said life was fair did they. I have had the opportunity to own some really nice cars in my life but I don't tend to keep them long. If it was an S54 it might have been a different story but as it was I did pretty good on the deal. Any M series car is special and yes I took a few for a test but they did not meet my needs today. That said enjoy the pics.

I love how the e90 looks now. I think You need to pick up some 19" wheels, but you probably wont'...

Old MZ3 240 hp
New 325 225 hp

Not that much of a difference in power as the new 325 has the M54 3.0L engine..

The car looks beautiful... nice job.

Thanks for the compliments guys.

Although the HP numbers are close, the difference in feel is night and day. The MZ3 had two faces, one below 4000 rpm where torque ruled the day and one above 4000 RPM where the screaming started and HP took over. The 325 is just smooth all the way. There is absolutly no discernable bump in the power curve, almost turbine like to the red line. It is very hard to get used to as I always loved it when the MZ3 came up on the cams but that is not why I bought the car.

Yeah 19's would look nice, Budds in Oakville has a silver 325 on some 19's from ACS *mw* . I didn't even want to ask how much.

that 330i e90 at budds is 60 grand, aftermarket aero kit, cf rear apron etc. looks very nice, my friend was close to buying it, theyve had it there a while now... seems like they can't move cars with aero kits, just like their silver 2003 mini which they still want 50 grand for, hasn't sold since 2002 or 2003, i wonder why....

Congrats on the new arrival. Your E90 looks great with that colour combo.

325 has nothing on an MZ3 even if the numbers are close.

I think an interesting comparrison would be the E90 325 vs E46 330.

BTW, on the bmw.ca site 325 is only 215hp, not 225hp.

I agree. They look a lot better in real life. I think they look better then the e46 body style.
