Yeah so i figure I will just share the story, finaly get my car running again last night after putting on the old intake manifold. So i'm driving and my egine temp hits red, open the hood coolant everywhere. :(

water pump work? rad cap on tight? Unless you have a hole in a rad hose, or the rad itself. Give us some more details, maybe someone can diagnose the problem.

Sorry to hear about such a misfortune.

well it turns out my T stat was busted (again, yeah for parts warrenty :D) but also my water pump. The cap on my car is pressure release so it just pushed all the fluid out from under the cap.

that sucks.. not a fun job, but easy to do.. you can replace it in 3 hours or so.

your car was in at work and you needed a water pump and thermostat housing was cracked thats why your car overheated
