Retrofit or Ghettofit...... how do they fit into Ellipsoid housings, do they have to be retrofitted again

sorry retrofit in regards to making it plug and play, just have to plug into your old light socket. You have to figure out how to mount it to your headlights yourself. Should have been more specific

i have those type of hid setup too.. but not retrofitted yet.. i dunno if its so safe to just cut like that.. its not a linear current rather an arced current feed.. could cause some problems

bmw tech did it and he said there would be no problems

well this is going by electrical engineering stand point.. but the if you are using the ignitors that are with the system you should be good.. but that glue doesnt look to good.. i think a better solution is to get the bixenon projector housing and retrofit that instead.. thats what i am doing.. no cutting of any wire other than powering it up

dually noted, but I would rather just sell them at this point. I don't really have the time nore the headspace to take on any projects right now. I agree the glue looks hack but it works.

Not sure man, you have to figure out how to mount them to your headlight setup. They are set up for plug and play though

but did u make it "plug and play" for the US spec headlights or the euro ellipsoids? Mounting is not a problem, its the bulb size.

It made it plug and play for US spec, but bulb fitment? WOuldn't the bulb fit into a euro spec also, I don't see why not
