Have a question about my 94 320i ..looking to redo the clutch ...just wondering do have to change the pressure plate too ...or can i just change the clutch plate ...and also does any body know if the splines on that tranny is the same as a 325i tranny ....or does anybody have any recommendations

No man - do it all - and the throwout bearing (throwaway bearing) while you're at it. The pressure plate springs may be soft, which can also cause slipping. Also, the surface will be scored like brake rotors/pads.
If you want to save, leave the flywheel alone instead of machining it flat. That's like changing brake pads without machining the rotor.

yeah kinda figured the pressure plate might be shot ...
do u know if a presure plate of a 325 would fit on a 320
then i can just use a stock 320 disk
cos im not sure if the splines match of a 325 disk

a stock clutch comes usually as a kit, plate, clutch and throwout bearing
and yes the splines from a 325 are the same
you can use anything from a 318, 320 or 325, the 328 and m3 have a bigger clutch
