When you sand the car down, or have it media blasted, how do you ensure that it doesn't rust while it sits, etc?

it probaly will rust until it's been painted beyond primer...

it does slightly rust in areas where moisture may have touched it. but my final step was to sand the whole car with 180 grit and then i sprayed an etch primer over the whole car. thats how its sitting right now and it will be fine so long it doesnt go sit in the rain, which i dont plan on letting that happen unless my garage blows away.

in those pix above i was just transporting it to my shop which is litterally down the street. still looked a little goofy but oh well. Im not paying a flatbed to come and get it and bring it down the street.

haha, i did the same when going to a bodyshop. i took off the bumper, sideskirts, all that shit and threw it into the back of my truck and drove down there without. it was about ~2 miles away, got quite a few looks :)

man, it looks beastly with the inner fending liners & radiator just hanging out.

We pushed it back most of the way. It is so light. This car at this stage would eat the M5 alive.
