i was downtown tonight and i raced a nice 1994 2 door 318is (i think is, 4 cylinder too) anyways he saw me pulling up next to him so he gave it some gas and then i caught up to him to finally catch a light that went green as soon as we stopped, we went at a good couple of times but i beat him on all occassions, mostly because i can drive standard better then him (he screwed up a few times) and because my car is 6 cylinder....of course i squaked my tires when switching to 2nd gear and he did it in every gear...anyways it was a fun race and the guy was cool afterwards...:)

but still E30 325 vs. E30 318 (M42) is a closer race then E30 325 vs. E36 318...

Really? Why is that? The E36 318 92-95 is still using the M42 motor. And they weigh almost the same, if not the E36 is slightly lighter as well.

Just for fun I always wanted to run an E30 325. I've raced some pretty shabby ones that were stick but I think because of the condition of their cars I smoked them really badly. I need someone with a decent E30 325 to race me, thanks!

I've said it once and I'll say it again, we should have a Maxbimmer drag strip day.

I want to go but no one is replying. I have a feeling its going to end up just like the maxbimmer dyno day.
