I remember bliss mentioning this before, and MTRD just brought it up today. It'd be cool if we had little cards we could leave on cars to tell them about this site. MTRD said he see's a lot of nice cars up in the Richmond hill area.

Hey... use the maxbimmer signatures.... make them as trading cards:P

Bliss

Yeah, that would be cool i think. but the hard part is to figure out how, and what kind of cards?

Gamite

regular business cards, I could design them and the find some card company to print them.

Bliss

are the domensions the same for every business car? i think they are. They dont even have to be perfect. I have a bunch of photo paper at home so i may be able to print some out.

I was also thinking of business cards, but these might be too small. So small (think: rave) flyers might be the way to go. I think the dimension are 8.5 in x 5.5 in (half of a letter-sized paper). The MaxBimmer sigs look very nice, that could be a start.

Bliss? card or flyer?

Bliss
01-18-2002, 12:17 AM
well flyers are a good idea, and would be more noticeable and easier to read i guess. jinushaun has a good idea abuot the rave type flyers. I don't know...anything will do. :)

Thing is, there's not much to write on it, and cards would be cheaper.

Bliss

Yeah, you're right. just the cards would be fine i guess.

Rob,

I know that guy.... his name is Mike Brill and the car he has is sick. It's an E28 5-series with a 745i turbo motor transplant. He's running like 21psi and has 2 intercoolers. The thing is sick! (Except of the 3 foot-high DTM wing) I figure about 450HP. He also has awsome wheels. They're Rondell 17"x 10" wide with a 3" dish. He's a lawyer (traffic tickets anyone?) and is located aroung Weston & Lawrance Area. He doesn't really have time to surf the net or do anything extra car related.

Gettin back on topic, here's what it might look like:

Jules... I think it looks perfect the way it is... If you add a car, the you start to generalize on certain models and scare people away. Think about it Rob, If there's a pic of an E46 M3, E21 and E30 enthusiastes will be like "oh, it's just snobby folk" and if it's the other way around, the rich guys won't bother with us. Leave it like that.... it's perfect*smoke*

Yeah, I think if I put anything else on it, it would clutter it up, there's not a lot of space to work with.

Bliss

I also think it good*th-up* thanks Gamite.

I'm sorry if I didn't read the previous posts, but I personally think that it might be effective if we place these cards on all the windsheilds of BMWs just to let the owners that this site exists and is a resource they can come to when looking for info/discussions, etc.!
