Gonna do the swap next month.. i know itll be a lot easies to drift my car then :D but what about acceleration of the line??? 0-60 times? etc.. will they improve???

Gonna be a 3:15 LSD from a 3.0 M3

Well, your stock diff has a 3:15 in it already, so the only real noticable difference you'd feel is accelerating out of corners, and when launching both wheels will have power to them, instead of only one wheel peeling out.

Doesn't the Canadian had the 3.15LSD?
Didn't the M3 got the 3..23LSD diff?

Well, if we are talking M3 3.38 Diff... that is another story.

The 94 and 95 5spd M3's (3L) have 3.15's, the 96-99 5spd M3's (3.2L) have a 3.23, the auto M3's have 3.38's, and I think the 6spd M3's have 3.64 or 3.73. I'm not sure what rear end the SMG M3's had.

Search the forums. I had to drive to Brooklyn to pickup mine. They're pretty rare.

You pretty much gonna have to look for it in USA, since automatic M3s were never sold in Canada.

try Diffsonline.com. They've got access to lots of bmw diffs, but a little pricey though

I was quoted 850 us for a 3.38 (lowmileage) shipped to buffalo. Expensive but relatively rare.

An open 2.93. Only ASC prevents one wheel spin on the 328's.
