I am looking for a place that would sell a lexan hood for an E36 2dr.

lexan is like plexiglass except it's stronger, doesn't crack, slightly flexible, and clear.

so i can have a clear hood
i dont want a carbon fiber or fiberglass one
plus i wanna be different
i plan to put all sorta of nice chrome and neon under the hood

but alas, i wanna keep most of this new car a secret!!

i wudnt recomend that man...that way people know wat u have under the hood and will want it, and prob find a way under the hood to take it! i'd say keep it only for show..but it looks really dumb on bimmers.

It probably isn't street legal (could be wrong). Besides...leave that for the ricers.

naw dont worry it's just for show
i'd put the regular hood on for daily use
it's harder to pry open than a plastic one =)

You can try this place that sells lexan and aluminum race car parts...probably expensive to custom a BMW one though.
