2) are those stock turns that have been paint-tinted?

what kind of paint did you use?... did you pull the bulbs on the turn signals?... they don't even look like they're on in the driving pics... ? or just very very dim from the paint?

I just used black spray can paint, driving lights are disconected but turn signals are still functioning.
