540 sway on a 525

What is the difference in teh 540 swaybar and the 525?

Stiffer?

would it be an upgrade for my 525?

Stock all E34 but M5: Front: 23mm - Rear: 15mm.
Sport suspension: Front: 24mm - Rear: 18mm.
M-Technic suspension/US E34 M5 3.6: Front: 31 35 2 226 333 - 25mm Rear: 33 55 2 226 507 - 18mm
Eibach: Front 26mm - Rear: 13mm. (yes, I called them to confirm)
Racing Dynamics: Front 27mm - Rear: 19mm.

Try to find some M5 sway bars.

My rear subframe bushings inserts will make the rear of your car a bit more stable also.
