congratulations!
there are a few things you might want to do now ....
take CDV (clutch delay valve) out , since it is off warranty you don;t have to worry about drilling it, but simply remove it. You'll feel how much better you can shift without CDV.
Short shifter - you can get a shifter from M3 - it'll fit, 60$ or so. But you will just love the precision and shift throws.
Install clutch stop.
These 3 simple mods can improve the joy of driving your e39 tenfold. If DYI - it'll cost you 100 bucks. The best 100 you can spend on your car - guaranteed.

looks amazing! How many previopus owners? I think it's reasonable price for worthy 528i.Just rip out the old lights out and put in the late model E39.(The only mod I would do beside the rims )

Ivan is right ..... nothing makes the car look new as a new pair of angel eyes and new (even fake as I did ) CELIS tails.

by the way - just today I was asked - why does your car looks so modern and new when the other on next to it on the parking lot looks dated .... I said - I take care of my paint ..... :) but the truth was ... I have new tail ligts , new Angel Eyes and my car is clean ... these are all very subtle differences that noone can distinguish ... but they get that general feeling of a very expensive new high end BMW, even though mine is older then the one next to it :)

The only thing is ,anges lights are expensive....dont mean to sound bad but an e39 with old lights's kinda dated for 1997 year and up.
