View Full Version : facking glue: anyone know how to take it off?

so i took off the 325i off my car b/c the shop didn't put it on straight and it looked goofy. and i've tried everything from goo gone thing to heating it... its this hard yellow sticky shit... i'm scared to scrape it off without damaging the paint

Bug and Tar remover. It's available at canadian tire, and its safe on paint. *th-up*

btw chrome, it's gunna look so much cleaner without the badges

for my badges I used a heat gun first, then with dental floss then used bug/tar remover

When I got my car repainted they put it on crooked too, mine came off easy though with bug and tar.

try gasoline ... and NO !!!!! dont light it up on fire ! :D
use use a rag and gasoline, rub it off and i'll come off.

^or just use some thiner with a rag... I do it all the time at my job when I have to remove stickers from other dealerships.

remove the glue that you melted and rinse it often until it's completely gone.

make sure to wax the spot after you are done though.
