Hi

I want a vintage/ classic BMW.

Pre 79

let me know what you got, & how much.

saw a nice green 2002 here, but unfortunately I cant have it because I am not looking to spend more than a couple of grand

You may find the odd 2002 in the states for that cheap. Since you are looking for a car for that price expect repair/restoration to cost $$$. Old BMW's are becomming extremly rare......people are buying them up like crazy.

Still there are "deals" to be found. I bought a 1976 2002 from the original owner for $1800 a few years back. Car was Very solid just needed new rockers. and I sold it for $1000!! to go back to school.

g'luck Man - the 02's are a fun ride :)

I know someone selling a Turbo 320i, very solid, needs work...but the price is low and flexible...

The car is early 80's...the motor used to be in a rusted 79, so they transplanted it to an 83 (i think)...For the age, the body is 9 out of 10, motor is in, some work needed to start/run...dont know how much tho...For a small price it will be a great project with a lot of potential...
