Proto motor, a small supercar builder from korea is now lunching its prototype version spirra. Simply i want this car. 0-60 in low 4 sec. I thought this car was just a prototype to show the company's ability, but now its being out to public. wonder if they will sell it here, I doubt it though..

Just did some googling and found this
http://www.protomotors.com/renewal/spirra_eng/spirra_technicalspec_03.htm

Supercar??
Im sorry but supercars do not come with 3.0l engine making 182hp

4.6l v8 sounds like a Mustang engine, not Koenigsegg

thats why they have a option of 4.6 320 hp. and yes koenigsegg is using the same engine from ford.

wonder how much it will be when it gets to states. I heard somewhere around 70k.

it looks pretty good nontheless. If its around same price as the boxter s, I would definitly take this car. This car is handbuilt like all other supercars with alot of body parts using cf and stuff.

oh yeah, sick finga, the spec you are looking at is from before, the updated spec is what I posted above. supercharged and turbocharged.

wow had no idea koenigsegg come with ford engine
but still its nothing like stock 4.6l from Ford, you can see that it has slightly biggest displacement, 4.7l
and why would Ford GT come with bigger and less hp engine if it was so easy to make more hp with 4.6l.

I think similarity between ford's and koenigsegg's engine is like comparaing 850csi engine to McLaren F1, based on the same block, but completelly different beasts

very true. I think so too. probably using the same block as you mentioned.

anyway, im not really interested on the ford motor, but I m curious to see the potential of the 2.0 turbocharged motor. 2.0 turbo making 280, im very sure it would be easy to boost up and pass 350 marks.

you are making an assumption based on the experience of kia.
This car is made by proto motor, not kia or hyundai. completely different company. you are basically saying vw or audi was pieces of shit therefor bmw should be shit either.
