Can you get a how-to on how to do the rear bumper thing? I'd be curious to see that up close as I'm changing my rear bumper soon as well.

Nice! I LOVE before/during/after shots of project cars, it shows all the hard work that when into it...Its easy to go to a show/meet and look at nice cars, but not knowing all the hard work that was done to them! Keep up the good work.

P.s when is it going to be done?

Thanks Fil for the rieger bumper. *th-up*

bmdbley'sBro That part was cut and sand blasted. then weld a new piece. It supprise me how much work they put in this car. I wanted a color change, I dind't know they were going to take every door, hood, trunk off just to paint the inside. alot of shop that I know just leave the door and hood on and just mask everything and paint.

app I will try to get more pic for the bumper. but if you want to know for sure how they mounted on, give autoPro a call. and ask for joe. very good guy, will happy to tell you exactly how they installed.

your in progress pics look exactly as my car does right now.
took off the hood, fenders, doors, trunk, bumpers, windshield, rear window, complete interior, etc. right now it's in pieces... should be painted and I'll be putting it all back together this weekend. Doing all the welding, sandblasting, bodywork, etc. myself though.

Yes...why do people do that. I notice a lot of
-backward skirts
-backward sidemarkers (<96 style)

It makes the car look like it's going backwards or something

Its very clean and nice except for one thing. the SKIRTS.
Its ruinning the whole nice clean look.

Did the bodyshop molded the sides to the body? if so then only the repaint will fix the problem, if its just bolted on, then you shouldnt have anyproblem
fixing it.

gorgeous... couple of ideas/questions though:

fix the skirts (obviously)
paint the roof spoiler
//M3 mouldings are desperately needed
I could see some nice cup-style mirrors suiting your car... like the RD ones
97+ OEM grills... your car is silver... non-oem grills are illegal on silver cars (take note sickfinga!)

...but ya, your car is the hotness... im jealous.
did the shop mold all the rear mouldings together? if so its hotness!

It too late to fix the side skirt now.
the side skirt have been molded on.
I just have to live with it for now untill this winter.
I don't want to keep fixing my car. I want to be able to drive this summer...
thanks.

Car looks awesome, from the pics it looks like the car has a violet pearl in it. Seeing the process pics, really does make one aprreciate it that much more.

Hope to see it around.
