This might be old news but I'm amazed at how cool this is. I'd get this over the E46 M3 for sure....if I could.

First time ever hearing such a thing. Very interesting, though im disappointed that it has the US spec 3 liter. Such a rare car deserves the Euro spec motor. It needs it...

it's sweet.....but iwudn't take it over a e46 m3(given the e46 is a later model year so it doesn't have those 01 problems :D )

This is Alan Taurs M3, I told Randy about this car, so now I dug it up....

He retrofitted almost every option there was in a M3 (that was available in Europe). He also retrofitted the OEM M Parallels (9.5" rear wheels, it's crazy).

He retrofitted: "side panel airbags from a 97 .. euro headlight washers ..
lumbar support on the vaders .. rear sunshade .. rear reading lights .. floor lightning from the 97 + m3s .. rear fog lights .. headlight adjusters .. i mean the list is endless"

The complete list of mods is here if anyone is interested http://www.uucdigest.com/gallery/alant.html

Agreed. I would take the blue one over the Individual grey one. I would just have to remove that horrible wing and it would be sweet!

I was just talking with another instructor at the April BMW school about this program in Canada. I don't recall all the details, but this program was offered in Canada for 95 (cars built in 94). These were the euro model - with the 296 hp 3L motor. There were 45 built. For whatever reason, this program was not continued in Canada past 95.

Recently I saw a few of these cars for sale on autotrader.
