New Bulb Installation

Does any know if changing a new bulb for a e46 easy?
I mean can you do it yourself like most average cars?

I 've located the spot and its has a rubber dome piece covering it, but I cant seem to take the existing bulb out. Is this the right step so far?

but yes, it's suppose to be as easy at my E36. twisty and turney.. and NO BRAKEY and its out...

ITS HID....There 3 Bulbs in one headlight right...the turn signal, the main HID bulb and then the daytime running lights....
Im trying to replace the Main HID Bulb
