Just curious, I know there are laws on the tinting % on the fronts, im not sure about the backs. but have the police bothered you about your tint? I want to tint my car soon but am not sure how dark I wanna go. please post pics of your car and what % of tint you have. :)

i think for the front, 35% is the darkest u can get without get *smoke* from the cops...but at the rear...u can do what ever u want..even paint them in black

if u wanna see how 35% looks...go check my thread....under picture of my m3........btw...if i ever do it again...i will go darker like 25%

I have 20% all around on my Winter Beater. I am changing it to 15% very soon cuz I have lifetime warranty and 3 windows are peeling so I'm going to make them redo the whole thing instead of just the 3.

No tickets yet.

I have been to court in Oakvile, Mississauga, Etobicoke, Northyork, Toronto(old city hall) and Barrie for window tinting tickets. I will tell you what evey judge has told me, it is the officers discretion on weather or not to give you a ticket. I also forgot about Milton. Get pulled over on a dark road and any tint looks too dark. To date I am up to 35 tickets for non moving violations.
The only good thing is you don't lose points.

Remember being in the car with my older bro and a 10% tint in an 86 dodge 600.
(Quebec cop) just handed him a razor blade and made him strip it all off on the side of the road, 10% was legal then but it's the officers judgment that prevails well back then anyhow. Evil bastards!!!!
They havn't bothered me in my 20% so geuss it's alright.

That would get me so pissed if a cop did that to me..above and beyond what he needs to do to be a prick

I have limo all around, except the windshield. Although I've never been pulled over because of tint, I did get a fix-it ticket from a cop that pulled me over for no seat belt. Went to the DMV, removed the tint, got the ticket signed off, drove right to the tint shop and redid my limo tint. *smoke*

Actually, I have no problems at night. I see fine out the tints. The only time I have problems, is if it's completely pitch black outside with no street lights or anything, but even then, I manage just fine :)
