Congrats on the new X5. Nice and classy color combo *th-up*

Oh and the non-sport X5 3.0i's were the only X's available with a manual tranny, my friend had an X5 3.0 with the manual tranny and that thing hauled ass! *angel*

X5HogTown (the S54 M Coupe guy) has a Topaz 5-speed 3.0i. He tows the M Coupe with it!

My uncle has a 3.0i Sport, black/black on the 19's. Looks awesome, the only SUV's I'd buy would be the X5 of the Infiniti FX.

I've got 11K on mine, and other than a latch problem in the beginning that was repaired quickly, it's been flawless.

Slap on snow shoes in the winter, and snow & ice become your bit$h! *th-up*

For an SUV, the X5 4.4 hauls a$$, and stock for stock, handles better than my Magnum!

We're still having the latch problem with our 4.4. We've had it "looked at" by BMW Mississauga at least 10 times, once at Budds, at they still can't fix it. Help!

i had a latch problem on our x5 and they replaced the electrical strip and it works fine. we've had no problems since, but i think a speaker might be blown. we got a 05 3.0 with everything minus nav and i hate u for having the 4.4i!! lol

Yea the 4.4 is pretty awesome. My dad got all the packages (sport, luxury and nav). The first two are worth it, but we rarely use the navigation. Or as some high schoolers recently called it, the "pimp factor".

Someone in your family owns it?

They fixed it in minutes at Autohaus, at our first oil change.

May be worth the drive to Thornhill at this point.....

It's the family car. Obviously, I use it the most.
tlaselva, they fixed the latch problem at autohaus? I'm taking it there next week, hopefully they get the job done. I just want the trunk problem fixed asap, it's so annoying every time you go over a bump, it sounds like the latch is going to fall off.

Other than that, the car is in perfect shape.

^^ I've heard good things of Cross Avenue.

I met a girl who's dad has a Porsche C4S and her mom has a TT and they take them there...

They aren't a BMW dealer. Does it make any sense to take a vehicle that is most probably under warranty there?

I don't think so.

Exactly, we have warranty at the dealership, why would I take it somewhere else. One of the dealerships will eventually fix it properly...

You may want to try BMW Toronto. That location is not a franchised dealership, it's owned by BMW Canada.
