im curious because if i buy used rims with tires i just wanna make sure they will fit, i currently have 235/45/17 on the car with no rubbing, i just wanna make sure that the extra bit wont cause me rubbing or anything.

Well, it is even bigger than 235/45/17, and that's already cutting it close to the liners. A slight change in offset or wheel width would be all you need to get rubbing.

What are the offset of the rims? Right now I have 18x8.5 CH's which have a +35 offset and they're pretty close with H&R sports and shaved fenders (don't ask, it wasn't me). You could always sell the tires as long as it's got some life left.
